Commission Info

Commissions are a great way to create a lasting, custom piece of artwork. Whether it is a family portrait, a pet memorial, or a wedding portrait, commissions create an heirloom that can be cherished and passed down for generations to come.

Many of the commissions I do are very meaningful to my clients, and I am honored to be part of it! I enjoy working with clients to ensure they are getting what they expect, within their budget, so that I can produce the end product that exceeds client expectations!

FAQs

What does this process look like?

  • We will discuss everything before I begin a project to ensure we are on the same page.
  • After we have agreed on everything, you will pay the down payment so I can begin the piece.
  • I will provide updates throughout the entire process.
  • Payment in full will be due upon completion of the artwork.

How do I commission you?

The first step to commission me is to send me a message! Let me know what you are wanting done. If you have any reference pictures at this point, feel free to send those as well! Include as much information as you would like. Some things you could mention include:

  • Reference photos (especially if you are requesting a portrait)
  • What medium you would like (charcoal, acrylic paint, oil paint, colored pencil)
  • Size preference
  • Preferred budget
  • Anything special you might want to include or change from reference photos

From here, we can discuss what size and medium I think would look best, as well as what pricing would look like for different options.

Once we have agreed, you can submit your down payment and I will get started!

What can I expect pricing to look like?

Pricing will vary based on size, subject matter, amount of detail/difficulty, and medium. For example, a wedding portrait that includes the entire wedding party, is 20" x 30" and is done is oil paint will be much more detailed, and therefore take me much more time than a pet portrait that is 8" x 10" and acrylic paint.
